“Rosie the Riveter” In 1942 The US Launched a propaganda campaign to empower women to support the millions of enlisted men in their war effort, a desperate and ultimately historically successful campaign to introduce all able body American women to industrial manufacturing. Women where not only capable, they EXCELLED, US Manufacturing almost tripled that of any other nation during the war. Men where the guardians by sacrificing their lives, but women ultimately won the war by their violent instincts to support the men they loved by slaving under brutal industrial work conditions
